Mold
U12s entertained Caernarfon for the second time this
season and ran out 48-0 winners. Alex Leigh was first to break the
dead lock after 5 minutes crashing over from short range after
Mold's forwards had been camped on Caernarfon's Try line, Tyler
Bridges slotting the conversion. Caine Le Tissier was next on the
score sheet after he latched onto quick ball spun out to the backs,
cutting inside then out to outpace two defenders to score. Owen
Jones scored the first
of his Hat-trick of Tries after he found himself in space out on the
wing his pace making it easy run in. Next up was Ethan Roberts
producing one of his trade mark barrelling runs to crash over from
short range followed by Harri Purchase after doing some fine work at
the breakdown. Gareth Cannon slotted the Conversion. Owen Jones’
second and third trys were like peas in the pod outpacing
Caernarfon's defenders to score under the posts. Tyler Bridges
slotting one conversion and Gareth Cannon the other. Max Tami who
won the Player of the Weekend Award for some hard work in the
Training Sessions in the week and fine work in the match scored
Mold's final Try of the match after he drove over from close range. Final Score Mold 48

Mold
U11s match summary pending. Mold
U10s played 2 games against
both
Shrewsbury
and Ruthin this week. Both opposition packs were big and well
drilled keeping Mold constantly under pressure in both games. In the
first game against
Shrewsbury
honours finished even at 14-14. Mold try scorers were Morgan Johnson
with a rip, spin and dash to the line and the second a rapidly
coming trademark crash ball from last week’s newcomer Robbie
Davidson. Morgan converted both trys. Mold’s second game against
Shrewsbury
fielded a new look Mold side going down 0-19 despite the best
efforts of Harry Robinson, Jack
Evans and Joe Harrison tackling everything above grass level. The
first fo the two games against Ruthin saw Mold go down 0-12 in a
closely fought contest with Utility players Ronan Burger and Elis
LeTissier standing out in the backs. The final game of the series
saw an even closer match with just a single try and conversion to
Ruthin separating the teams. Owen Millington stepped up to the mark
in the Mold backs along with Ross Hebdon-Naylor and Oli Taylor,
Mold’s Man of the Match from the forwards. Final score 0-7 to
Ruthin. Mold U9s entertained
Shrewsbury U9s and played 3 games against
Shrewsbury
running out winners in all three games, in the first game Mold won
by 3 Tries to 1 with Tom James scoring 2 Tries and Rhys Messham also
on the score sheet. In the second game Mold cut loose and ran out 11
Tries to 0 winners thanks to a Hat-trick of Tries for Oliver Watters
and Andy Cowling, Charlie Prebble
grabbed a brace, Mold's other
Tries coming from
Elis Cannon, Lewis James, Dion Jones. In the third game Mold
throttled back and ran out 3 Tries to 0 thanks to Rhys Messham,Tom
James and Aaron Evans. Kieron Stewart was named Man of the Match. Mold
U8s continued their devastating run of form in a series
of three matches against two full U8 teams from
Shrewsbury
. In the initial match the first try must be a contender for best
try of the season by the team. It combined total team play, support
running, pace and precision passing. It was Matthew Williams who
touched the ball down but the try belonged to all eight players on
the pitch. It proved to be the first of ten tries for Mold in this
game with William Roberts picking up another four. Seth Geary, Monty
Roberts, Alun Evans, Sam Harrison and Harry Millington also crossed
the whitewash to produce a compelling 10: 5 victory for Mold.
The second game saw
Shrewsbury
field their second team. Despite the heavy conditions underfoot Mold
dug deep to secure an 8:7 victory. William Roberts scored a further
three tries and Seth Geary also scored three. Matthew Williams and
Harry Millington also added to their earlier tally. In the third
game Mold continued to dig deep against their fresher opponents with
each of the
Shrewsbury
teams playing one half. William Roberts closed out his 9 try haul
for the day with a further two tries. Alex Murphy added a further
two whilst Harry Millington and Seth Geary ensured that they had
scored in each of the three matches by scoring a try a piece. Sam
Harrison was the U8 Man of the Match.
Mold U7s had one game and emerged decisive 10:5 victors. Alex
Foster in his debut for the team scored an impressive two tries,
Harry Koffman as usual found himself on the scoreboard with an
excellent hat trick of tries. Tommy Ellis, William Pritt, Charlie
Barnes, Joe Brackley and Matthew Sandoz also scored, rounding off an
excellent all round team performance. Joe Brackley
was the U7s Man of the Match
